Spring 2020 Registration Starts 11/9
The Registrar's Office has announced a one week delay for Spring 2021 registration. Registration now begins on Monday, November 9. This delay by one week will allow the time for academic departments to make adjustments to class formats and stage determination. Enrollment appointments have been updated in Dates and Deadlines and in UAccess Student Center.

We are gauging your interest in completing an undergraduate certificate focused on military families. This certificate covers complexities that surround the dynamics of military families and supports those interested in careers focused on working with military families.

Compost Cats: Multiple Student Positions
Student Compost Specialist: Compost Cats seeks 2-4 student employees to assist in day-to-day operations, including but not limited to:
- the creation and management of compost/composting systems,
- waste management,
- K-12 and community-focused STEM programming/curricula,
- trainings for commercial business employees,
- potential operation of small-scale equipment for organic materials processing,
- collection and reporting of data to the Compost Cats Program Manager,
- auditing and/or decontamination of food waste loads (please be prepared to get dirty),
- participation in zero-waste effort events, and more.
The successful candidates will inform and inspire the Tucson community about food waste reduction, materials cycling, soil health, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship.

Student Graphic Designer: Compost Cats seeks 1-2 student employees to assist with ongoing communication, marketing, and outreach efforts involving campus and the greater Tucson community. Areas of responsibility include developing print and digital graphics and media for Compost Cats events and University communication channels. This position may also assist in supporting and developing the visual layout of Compost Cats presentations, reports, and other publications and productions.

Talon Internship with the Angus Foundation
The Talon Internship is an opportunity for youth to learn firsthand about managing and operating day-to-day life on a ranch, and, in turn, participating host Angus breeders have a hand in mentoring the next generation. This paid internship offers students real world ranch experience.
Internship duties, depending on the host breeder’s program, may include tasks that range from helping prepare show cattle, AI-ing, preg checking, veterinary tasks, as well as feeding, fence maintenance, irrigation and more. Interns may also have the opportunity to participate in other Angus and beef cattle educational events and activities off the farm such as conferences and field days.

The 5 Steps to Build Your Network course will take students through the steps of identifying professionals and preparing for and conducting an informational interview. They can jump in and move quickly or take their time. There no quizzes, just the information and structure they need to feel confident moving forward.
