We are thrilled to share that Ava Peitz, the OUR's IRB & Clinical Research Leader was recently featured in @TheU's Humans of the U series!

Ava's early research experiences benefited her greatly, influencing her decision to change her majors from Chemical Biology & Psychology to Psychology & Political Science. Opportunities for early exploration are a great way for students to test their interests and make more informed decisions about the avenues they choose to pursue.

Early Exploration Scholars Program |
|

|
The Early Exploration Scholars Program fosters student connections with faculty mentors. Early Exploration Scholars learn about research opportunities at the University of Utah and receive a $500 scholarship to explore connecting with prospective faculty mentors surrounding research. The program provides opportunities to grow research interests early on in an academic journey.
