The Rundown

• March 6th is a half day of school and students will dismiss at 11:30!  Don't forget to mark your calendars and pick up your child(ren) at this earlier time!
• Yearbooks are on sale now through March 16 - Order one for your student at inter-state.com/order and use the code: 0312FR
  
• 4th Grade Music Celebration has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 19.  More info to come!
  
• MNPS Promising Scholars 2026 Summer program will be May 28 - June 26.  Waverly Belmont will NOT be a site.  Enrollment opened Feb 10. INFO HERE.
• Summer Camp w/Ms. Elliott! Get all the DETAILS HERE and sign your kiddos up to learn from one of WB's very own GATE teachers this summer! Questions or Registrations can be sent to: daveandnat0607@yahoo.com

READ ME WEEK & FAMILY LITERACY SHOWCASE 

Read Me Week has been so wonderful so far - and the fun is far from over!  We want the whole family to come to the Family Literacy Showcase THIS THURSDAY, March 5th from 5-7pm. This fun FREE event includes pizza, activities, a goodie bag and a free book for each family! Come enjoy all the amazing places reading can take you (including WBES!)

Rock The House Y2K26

Everybody's favorite musical extravaganza is BACKKKKKK (yeah-ah).  The 3rd Annual Rock The House Parent/Teacher Social will be held on Friday, April 10th.  Admission is free but RSVPs are appreciated so we can plan the appropriate amount of food and beverage.  This event features your favorite WB Teachers and Staff singing the hits of the early 2000's backed by an all-parent house band.  This event is adults only and there will be optional fundraising opportunities at the event if you wish to participate.  Come sing along and lets ROCK THE HOUSE!
