Our football team had a thrilling overtime win on Saturday! The season opener was filled with many heart-stopping moments, including the gutsy call to go for two in overtime—watching quarterback Landry Gilpin throw the ball off his back foot to JoJo Wilson on the goal line must be one of the most exciting plays SU has ever completed! Our women’s volleyball team also opened their season last Thursday with a 3-0 win over George Fox, followed by another 3-0 win over Augsburg on Friday. Way to go Pirates!
