January Hillel Highlights

Miznon
This month, the group got together to cook arayes, a middle eastern stuffed pita!

Curling at Tee Line Nashville
Hillel Out-Doors took a trip to go curling at Tee Line Nashville.
Challah Bake
Challah for Hunger hosted its monthly bake, selling chocolate chip and traditional challah on Rand Terrace. Proceeds from these bakes help fight food insecurity in Nashville.
Wicked Shabbat
Students enjoyed singing Wicked tunes to some of the prayers, and eating a Wicked themed Shabbat dinner including yellow brick road latkes and flying monkey chicken wings.
FYSH Ice Skating
Our first year students of Hillel program took a group trip ice skating!
We are Here, songs from the Holocaust
This concert featured songs written in the ghettos and concentration camps of Natzi- occupied Europe. Nashville's top artists, leaders and students from Vanderbilts Blair school of music took part.

Travel to Morocco with Hillel for Alternative Spring Break! We will depart from BNA on Saturday, March 8 and return on Saturday, March 15. A sample itinerary is linked here. This itinerary will change but can give you an idea of the kinds of activities and learning opportunities you will have in Morocco.
