Dear Students,
Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) at Sacramento State prides itself on engaging students in the political process, especially when it comes to an understanding of the importance of voting. We were the first CSU campus to have an on-campus voting center which has paved the way for other campuses to follow our lead, giving more power to student voices across California. Just last year Sac State was recognized as CIVIC Champions by the California State Student Association. We now have the opportunity yet again to show our commitment to civic engagement and show off our Hornet Pride! In recognition of National Voter Registration Day which is Tuesday, September 24th, Sacramento State will be participating in the CIVIC Surprise Challenge to register students to vote and spread the word about National Voter Registration Day.
Students, if you have not yet registered or pre-registered to vote, we ask that you use this
link to registering to vote. While registering to vote, make sure to fill out what campus you are from! This is how the Secretary of State and CSSA will count the number of new voters from our campus. With your help, Sac State can once again prove that our campus is the most engaged and politically active in all of California!
