Join Tufts Global Education staff on Monday, September 25, in Dowling Hall Room 745B, to learn about the first steps for studying abroad during the 2024–2025 academic year.

On Wednesday, September 27, at 12 noon in Dowling Hall Room 745B, learn about Tufts in Pavia, a five-week summer program in Pavia, Italy, that provides students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the wonderful culture of Italy while earning credits in Data or Computer Science. This program is designed for all students with an interest in Computer Science and an eagerness to learn about Italy. No background in Italian language or Computer Science is needed.

Join Environmental Studies and Rosanna Xia on Thursday, September 28, at 12 noon at the Curtis Hall Multipurpose Room or virtually for a lecture that will break down how journalists today are writing about environmental disasters, with lessons learned on what has (and has not) been effective! How do you communicate a crisis as overwhelming as climate change? Xia will also introduce her new book, California Against the Sea, and share insights from her award-winning reporting on sea level rise. In-person audience members will have a chance to purchase signed copies of the book at the event.

Join the Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center for a series of workshops aimed at first year students! These workshops will cover useful academic skills, paired with fun activities! Our last session is "First-Year Kickstart! Paint Night! Discovering Hobbies and Finding Work/Life Balance," happening on Thursday, September 28, at 5–6 p.m. in Barnum Hall Room 100. At this event we will chat about creating healthy work life balance, while dabbling in some painting!

TCU Senate is proud to host this year’s 2023 Resources Fair at the JCC Ballrooms in the Joyce Cummings Center on Friday, September 29, at 2–5 p.m.! Learn about and from the different University spaces and community members, as well as academic, professional, health/wellbeing, spiritual, and creative resources available to Tufts undergraduates. Stay for a chance to win great raffle prizes, free ice cream, and free headshots (registration required, see flyer). We hope to see you there!
