Dear Student,
Please note the last day for Tufts AS&E graduate students to withdraw from full-term courses is Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST via SIS. Students who withdraw from full-term courses before this deadline will receive a grade of W. Students may not drop or withdraw from a full-term course after this date; classes that are not dropped or withdrawn by this date will be graded in accordance with course grading policies. Deadlines for first- and second-session classes can be found on the academic calendar.
At this time, students who withdraw from a course(s) and are billed per credit are not eligible for a tuition refund. As a reminder, making enrollment changes such as changing (including swapping) and dropping classes is subject to the per-credit refund calendar. The refund percentage is based on the length of the course being dropped and the date the course is dropped. Other fees, such as mandatory, lab, or material fees, are not pro-rated.
*F-1 or J-1 visa holders, please contact InternationalCenter@tufts.edu before dropping below full time (12 credits for undergraduates and 9 credits for graduate students) if you do not already have prior authorization.
If you have technical questions about dropping courses in SIS, please contact Student Services at 617-627-2000, by email at StudentServices@tufts.edu, or in Dowling Hall. For advice on whether to drop a course, please contact your advisor or DGS.
