AN ACTIVE & ENERGIZING ESCAPE
Your adventure starts in the capital city of San José where you will spend your first night in a lovely hotel close to the international airport. The next morning follow the group on a scenic domestic flight to the Osa Peninsula. Soar into the most majestic part of the country and let your exciting eco-adventure begin!
Each day, we’ll offer different hikes and activities that will let you explore the beauty and richness of the rainforest. Every morning, we’ll head out on foot along natural, rarely visited trails on the Peninsula. This is where you’ll witness the most abundant wildlife in Costa Rica!
In the afternoons, you can relax on the beach, try one of our many optional excursions, read a good book, or enjoy some intuitive writing. During the retreat, Julie will treat you to various sessions of yoga-meditation-dance in the morning and at sunset to help you relax and ensure your well-being. This will be an exciting adventure into the world of movement and body awareness!

YOUR STAY & FOOD
At the foot of the majestic Corcovado National Park is an enchanting beachfront community perfectly nestled between the warm Pacific Ocean and the dense tropical forest. Find yourself in a naturally created corridor where the density of animals is greater than anywhere else in the country. (Pinky promise, you'll see way more wildlife here than anywhere else in the country.) You will be staying at Ojo del Mar, a lovely relaxed beachfront ecolodge with impressive views of the ocean and lush primary rainforest. Stay in beautiful thatched cabanas featuring individual beds with netting, private washrooms and plenty of privacy if sharing. You will be surprised at how comfortable you will be in this environment, thanks to the many birds, bats and amphibians balancing out this delicate eco-system. Wake up to the sound of howler monkeys in the distance and exotic birds showing off their bright colours while flying overhead. Everywhere you’ll look, you’ll see abundant wildlife and incredible scenery.
Enjoy delicious and tasty meals featuring fresh local ingredients and tropical flavours. For breakfast, enjoy freshly squeezed juices and locally grown, full-bodied Costa Rican coffee. This escape is perfect for anyone who loves good food, enjoys good company and wants to explore new flavours!
