iWeek Applications Open
We are accepting proposals from Registered Student Organizations for iWeek 2020 events and programs. The deadline for room allocations is Friday, December 20, 2019, at 11:59 pm.
Please submit your programs online at https: //iweek.gmu.edu/new-events/.
You will receive your event confirmation by the week of January 13, 2020. Also, please feel free to share this information with anyone else who may be interested in hosting an iWeek 2020 event.

PAC HIV & AIDS Awareness Fashion ShowCome out to the Patriot Activities Council’s 12th annual HIV & AIDS Awareness Fashion Show on Friday, December 6th starting at 7 PM at the Center for the Arts. Dress up, show out, and show up! Learn about HIV & AIDS through the lens of fashion, dance, and music. Pick up tickets at Student Involvement in the HUB or at the Center for the Arts. 2 free tickets per valid Mason ID, $5 for non-Mason students.

Mason Lobbies 2020: You’re Invited to Sign-Up!
On February 6th, 2020 George Mason University’s Student Government will be bringing students to the state capitol in Richmond to lobby state legislators for legislative items that impact Mason and its students. This is a historically key annual trip to maintaining relations in the state offices and ensuring that Mason receives due to support for financial aid, research funding, and other key issues for our university. Transportation and lunch will be provided, and students will be given lobbying resources and training prior to the trip to contribute to your professional skill set! Career Services Handshake Useful Tips~ Handshake is Mason’s jobs and internship database. Over 13,000 employers use the system to recruit Mason talent and more than 10,000 internships and jobs are currently being advertised in Handshake. From NBC Universal, Google, the NFL Players Association, the Smithsonian to the CIA, Booz Allen, Amazon, and Cigna, companies big and small are on Handshake.
~ All degree-seeking students have a Handshake account, simply sign in with your NET ID and password via the Student Login button. Get started by uploading your resume and completing your profile, then employers will search for you and discuss opportunities.
~ You can even search for on-campus jobs, career events, on-campus interview opportunities, and connect with students and alumni already working out in the field.
