It's the last day of Welcome Weekend; let's make it great! Don't miss Convocation and the Love & Honor Celebration! To view the full Welcome Weekend and First 50 Days schedule, get the Miami University Events app or view the web version of the schedule.
University Convocation

  • all first-year students are expected to attend; bring your Miami ID to swipe in

Celebrate the start of a new academic year with President Crawford and hear from keynote speaker, Stephanie Anderson, author of the summer reading book.
Leave with your RA from your residence hall or meet a commuter leader outside the . Note that there will be a bag check upon entering Millett Hall; we encourage you not to bring a bag if you don't need to.
Love & Honor Celebration

  • 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm (immediately following Convocation)
  • Yager Stadium
  • all first-year students are expected to attend
After Convocation, we'll all head to Yager Stadium for the Love & Honor Celebration, where you'll get your Class of 2023 t-shirt, M book, and other fun FREE giveaways! The Class of 2023 will gather in the student section of the stadium, meet Miami RedHawk student athletes and coaches, see the Miami University Marching Band, learn the fight song, and then take the "M" class picture on the field.
