OFFICIAL SCHEDULE OF 2014 LUCIE WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
Culminating with the 12th ANNUAL LUCIE AWARDS
Los Angeles, CA (Oct. 27, 2014) – The Lucie Foundation announces two noteworthy artist talks, free-with-RSVP, and an outstanding photographic exhibition during LUCIE WEEKEND 2014. The weekend culminates with the 12th Annual LUCIE AWARDS gala, held at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, on Sunday evening, November 2, 2014, at 7pm, with arrivals at 6pm. http://www.lucies.org/tickets This year’s host of the Lucie Awards’ is the multi-faceted Naja Hill, celebrated news anchor, journalist and producer. Naja has hosted her own show on The Style Network, and worked for a variety of television shows on E! Entertainment, FOX, CBS, NBC Universal, and various digital media platforms. She utilizes her outgoing personality to deliver her own brand of entertainment news, lifestyle and fashion expertise and will lend her talents to this year’s Lucie Awards.
The Lucie Awards, produced by the Lucie Foundation, a nonprofit charitable foundation, honor the achievements of the world’s most accomplished photographers, discover and cultivate emerging talent, and promote the appreciation of photography worldwide.

The 45 winning images from the 2014 competition were curated by David Clarke, Head of Photography Emeritus, Tate, who commented, “The consideration and selection of 45 ‘best of show’ images from hundreds of short-listed individually stunning images has been both immensely enjoyable and difficult with such a diverse range of subjects and styles.”
