We are writing to ask you to consider applying to join the Division of Student Affairs Advisory Council.
The Student Affairs Advisory Councils will work closely with the Dean of Student Affairs Office to provide essential input and ideas to student life initiatives. This group is a core partner in the broader work of developing, enhancing, and supporting the student experience at Tufts. The Council is comprised of approximately 30 students and will meet regularly to discuss a myriad of issues.
The aim of the Council is to be fully representative of our student body’s diversity in every sense of the term. We are intentional in including students whose voices may not otherwise be heard.
We are currently working on the Strategic Plan for the Division of Student Affairs. As we strive to provide the most robust and rewarding experience to current and future generations of students, Tufts AS&E Student Affairs has created a 5-year strategic plan designed to guide us towards our objectives. Those objectives include providing students with a residential experience that meets their needs, supports their academic and personal goals, and creates a healthy, vibrant, and diverse community they can thrive in. We want to ensure that students are fully engaged with us on this initiative and will play a central role throughout the strategic plan’s implementation.
