Kenyan McCray Steps Up for the PDX People Community
Kenyan McCray (he/him) with the TSA, was nominated by a Port of Portland employee:
"Kenyan came to our rescue during a recent staffing challenge in Lost and Found. We needed help and he stepped up in a big way! His friendly personality and willingness to assist – for a month – with drop box pickup and delivery was simply remarkable. Internal customer service helps build a stronger PDX family. From the entire Lost and Found team: Thank you, Kenyan!"

PDX New Main Terminal Artist Selection Announced
In partnership with the Regional Arts & Culture Council, we've selected two artists – Yoonhee Choi (Portland) and Sanford Biggers (New York City) – to create unique artwork for permanent installation in PDX's new main terminal.
Choi’s two 56-foot long, 11-foot high glass walls are her first commissioned public artwork and will be visible from both the Concourse Connector and the security queuing area. These large scale works will be site-specific compositions developed from Choi’s mixed media collages, which are both whimsical and structured in their design. You can see some of Choi’s current work in the Rental Car Center.
Biggers' two large scale, signature artworks will be suspended from the ceiling in an area between both entries to the Concourse Connector and will greet travelers once they pass through the TSA checkpoints. This is Biggers’ first commissioned public artwork in the Pacific Northwest, and the sculptures will be in dialogue with his previous quilt-based works. Learn more in the artist announcement.
