Dear fellow retirees,  These are trying times for all of us. The whole world is dealing with the COVID-19 crisis, and it can be particularly hard for us retirees. Fear of the virus itself, coupled with increased isolation and uncertainty in the world economy can be difficult to manage at times.   We put together some retiree-specific resources below to help our members cope.  Information from the Centers for Disease Control on who should take extra precautions  Older adults, 65 years and older, are at higher risk for severe illness   The State Health Plan is waiving the cost of treatment for members diagnosed with COVID-19, including associated deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. The Plan is also covering all testing charges. Read more on the Plan’s response here.  The N.C.
