NEW WELLNESS PROGRAM at LEFAY DOLOMITI
Eco-spa resort Lefay Resorts & Spa Dolomiti recently launched a new indoor-outdoor wellness program in the Italian Dolomites. The new, 5-night Active & Balance Program combines restorative outdoor mountain activities with spa treatments based on the five movements of Classical Chinese Medicine.
Created by the Lefay Scientific Committee, the program uses the natural landscape around the resort of unspoiled valleys, lakes, forests and glaciers as an outdoor spa to enhance physical and mental wellbeing. Guests can sample different activities each morning in the clear mountain air with trained mountain guides, followed by spa treatments and energy rebalancing activities each afternoon in Lefay's 50,000-square-foot spa – the largest in the Alpine region.

The 5-night Active and Balance Program starts at 3,250 Euros per person, based on two sharing a Prestige Junior Suite with full board (excluding alcohol) in Dolomia Restaurant and including all spa treatments within the program.

NEW GOURMET RESTAURANT in SICILY
Mazzarò Sea Palace, the 5-star, luxury hotel on the beach in Taormina, Sicily opened a new gourmet restaurant this summer. The intimate, 6-table restaurant, BLUM, is ideally set on two small terraces overlooking the Ionian Sea with a menu of “disruptive Sicilian dishes” created by Executive Chef Riccardo Fazio. The restaurant joins the hotel’s signature Armònia restaurant, which got a new look this season. And along with its Almarè bar, each overlook Mazzarò Bay from stunning panoramic terraces.

NEW CHEF at TROUTBECK
Chef Vincent Gilberti recently took the helm of the celebrateed culinary program at Troutbeck, the historic estate hotel in New York’s Hudson Valley.
Gilberti returned after honing his craft at Michelin-starred San Francisco Italian restaurant SPQR. With a passion for foraging, working with local purveyors and embracing seasonal ingredients, he brings knowledge of the region’s bounty as well as relationships with neighboring farms, fostered during his previous tenure as Chef de Cuisine at Troutbeck and upbringing in nearby Carmel, NY.
Gilberti’s brings a passion for whole animal cooking, handmade pasta techniques and a commitment to eliminating food waste. His menus will be rotated seasonally and highlight the bounty of the season.

NEW LOOK at LES SOURCES DE CAUDALIE
Les Sources de Caudalie, the 5-star Bordeaux hotel, located on the grounds of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, Grand Cru Classé, has gotten a refreshed look this season.
