Self-Assessment Period Open Through Jan. 31 |
As the year comes to an end, it is the perfect time to reflect on your achievements, review the tasks and projects you have completed, and document your accomplishments for the year. The best way to prepare for your annual evaluation is by completing your self-assessment.
Log in to PM @Tech through the “HR Services” tile, followed by the "Performance Management @Tech" tile, in Service Now to review and assess your goals or add accomplishments to discuss with your supervisor. The self-assessment period runs from Dec. 1, 2024, through Jan. 31, 2025.

Job Families Implementation Begins |
Implementation for the first wave of the Job Families is currently underway. We’ve created some resources that may answer some of your questions about why Georgia Tech is moving to the new structure and who is included in each wave. You will also find talking points to help you explain things to your team.
Click here to read the article, click here to visit the Job Families news feed, or click the button below to explore the Job Families webpage, which includes a list of job families, FAQs, a proposed implementation schedule, a new communications hub, and a form to submit questions or concerns.

Create a Recognition Program |
In addition to aligning with Georgia Tech’s value statements and creating a culture of belonging, recognition programs are a great way to make employees feel their work is being noticed and they are appreciated. Consider creating a recognition program within your unit!
There are a few steps to take before the program can launch. For example, the necessary funds must be requested before the program can be submitted for approval by the University System of Georgia in the spring or early summer. For a full guide on how to create a recognition program, click the button below.

It’s Employee Learning Week, an annual celebration of workplace learning organized by the Association for Talent Development. Georgia Tech Human Resources’ Workplace Learning and Professional Development (WLPD) team knows there are always opportunities to learn, and during Employee Learning Week, we’re sharing approaches, methods, and resources for all Georgia Tech employees.
This year, we’re celebrating the learning achievements of our fellow Yellow Jackets, to promote Georgia Tech’s culture of growth and inspiration. You can watch the videos by visiting the WLPD YouTube channel. By recognizing our featured colleagues, we not only honor their success but also motivate them and others to continue striving for excellence. Biannual Compliance Training Coming Soon |
The 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training launches Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, and all faculty, staff, and students who are active employees as of Jan. 1, 2025, will be required to complete the training.
People leaders are encouraged to take action before the close of the calendar year to help ensure direct reports who are not employed or will not be employed after Jan. 1, 2025, are removed from the HCM system in OneUSG Connect. Otherwise, these individuals will be unnecessarily enrolled in the training and may receive unwarranted disciplinary warnings. Instructions on removing an employee from the HCM system in OneUSG Connect can be found here (note that only people leaders with direct reports have access to the link).
