Students and employees share their stories on Veterans Day.
Georgia Tech’s military history goes back more than a century, beginning with a student-run Signal Corps during World War I. In 1917, Tech formally established its Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, which has since trained thousands of leaders in the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Today, Georgia Tech is recognized as a military-friendly institution, with campus landmarks honoring veterans’ service. On this Veterans Day, meet a few members of the campus community who have also served their country.
