January Member Meeting Highlights
Special thanks to The Honorable Melissa Bean, President & CEO of Mesirow Wealth Management, for sharing her perspective on the 2022 economy as well as insights about the 2021 bipartisan infrastructure bill and other funding possibly flowing to Chicago from the federal and state governments.

Melissa’s experience in the U.S. House as the Representative from Illinois’ 8th District, along with her still-strong ties to DC, proved invaluable as she provided her thoughts about the possible infrastructure funding flow and the path of future legislation in Washington.

Thanks also to Doug Voight, Urban Design and Planning Partner, at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and his team for hosting the event. SOM’s recently-renovated offices are fantastic and feature a large model of Chicago that really must be seen to be appreciated.
