Haunted Hancock

Explore some of the spookiest parts of Hancock Shaker Village and learn about the Shakers’ role in the spiritualist movement. Tours start at 7 p.m., last about 75 minutes, and include walking over uneven terrain and climbing flights of stairs. Suitable for ages 12 and up. Spooky Ventfort Hall

Fri–Tue Oct 27–31
Ventfort Hall will be decorated for Halloween weekend, and guests are invited to wear their Halloween costumes! The Haunted Hall will be open later on Friday just for the holiday weekend, and families with children 18 and under can visit the house at no charge on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Wear your costumes, too! Light refreshments will be served. More info

Berkshire Museum opens its new exhibition, One of a Kind Wonders, on Sat, Oct 28, featuring a captivating collection of extraordinary artifacts that have remained hidden within the museum's archives. A preview event will be held Fri, Oct 27, starting at 6 p.m., followed by a screening of Brian De Palma's 1974 cult film, Phantom of the Paradise, at 7 p.m., starring Paul Williams. The exhibition runs through Jan 7. More info

Rocky Horror & More

Arrive at 8 p.m. on Friday night at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield for a meet-and-greet and photo op with Nancy Nogood. Then, before The Rocky Horror Picture Show begins, there will be a pre-show performance and introduction by Nancy Nogood, including an interactive props tutorial. (Costumes are highly recommended!)
