Paul Kruse Article about Google AdWords Published in IP Journal
Bone McAllester Norton attorney  Paul W. Kruse researched and co-wrote an article that has been published in a leading intellectual property journal. “Is Profiting from the Online Use of Another’s Property Unjust? The Use of Brand Names as Paid Search Keywords” appears in IDEA: The IP Law ReviewVol. 52, p. 131, 2013. The article sets out to answer whether Google’s profiting from the use of others’ brand in its AdWords program is unjust.

Bone McAllester Norton Partners with Habitat for Humanity on Home Build
Bone McAllester Norton Habitat Build
Bone McAllester Norton partnered with  Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville on a home build in the Park Preserve neighborhood of north Nashville this past weekend. Construction on the home began in late March and concluded with the help of the firm’s attorneys and staff members on Sunday, April 21, 2013. The firm teamed up with  Capital Bank, N.A., a longtime and respected client, on the build for Shatika Johnson-Scott, a widowed mother of six children.
“Our firm and all of our attorneys and staff members take great pride in using their passions to promote and execute change,” said  Sam J. McAllester III, vice president and member of Bone McAllester Norton who also serves on the advisory board and finance committee for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville. “We were excited to partner with our friends at Capital Bank to provide not just a quality, affordable home but a better life of hope and opportunity to a deserving family in our community.”
