Last year the church celebrated Jesus’ resurrection online. This year will be an alloy of on campus and online worshippers. While many enjoyed the different feel of Easter at home with family members, God has infused our spiritual DNA with the compelling desire to gather together. 2. There are Three Gatherings
In order to accommodate a larger number of people on campus to worship Easter Sunday morning, we’ll have three different worship experiences. We will follow our health safety protocols in all three services.
8:30am – Outside on the back field. Bring your own chair or blanket. Feel the sun rise on you as you celebrate the Son rising from the grave. We have backup plans regarding weather.
11:00am – In the Worship Center. Expect more instrumentation and vocals while understanding we’re not at the point for full choir and orchestra.
11:00am – In the Gathering Place. This will have a more relaxed feel with its own worship leaders and band. The Easter message will be live streamed from the Worship Center.
3. Discover Deermeadows
This three-week group is for people who are newer to Deermeadows and want to learn more. We’ll be launching two classes Sunday, March 7 – one is on campus at 9:45am (Room B108) and the other online Zoom at 5:00pm. Be sure to sign up so we know to expect you!
Every year the Senior Adults contribute to the Upward Soccer program at Deermeadows by making phone calls to team members parents/guardians to let them know about their player’s team, schedule, and other important information. The information is read from a script and only takes a couple of minutes per player. If you're willing to invest 30-45 minutes please contact Len Sak (642-2200 x 204 or lsak@deermeadows.org.) These calls will be made beginning late February through early March. Thank you for helping Deermeadows serve the families of Upward Soccer!
