From the Office of the Dean |

Happy Monday, everyone, and welcome to our latest edition of the CHDCM newsletter! On this beautiful day, we are marking not only Earth Day, but also, as the sun sets, the start of Passover. Happy Passover, to all celebrating!
I also want to say a *huge* THANK YOU to all of the CHDCM community who participated in SHU’s Giving Day. Thanks to 152 individual donors, we not only unlocked our two gift challenges—$30,000 to support the WSOU Endowed Scholarship Fund, and $25,000 to support CHDCM graduate students—but we raised a total of $67,000! Thanks to all who participated, and this means we’ve set the bar high for next year! ;)
There is, as always, a lot going on in the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media, and our newsletter will help share good news and shout out to our amazing faculty and students….so read on! And, as we start to approach the end of classes and the start of finals, I hope you all remain healthy and well. Otherwise, please keep your good news and event notes coming, and have a wonderful remainder of your week!
