Town of Selma Parks and Recreation Internship Opportunity

Responsibilities and duties of the intern include:

  • Supervising and coordinating practices and games for our sports leagues
  • Assisting with field/court maintenance and preparation
  • Setting up, breaking down, and helping to supervise town events
  • Serving as point of contact for the parks and recreation department with parents and town officials
  • Help create weekly schedule for part-time employees
  • Place orders/take inventory of all items that will be needed for town and sports events

Pay for the internship is $10 an hour and the only requirement is that they have a valid North Carolina driver’s license. WolfPack Sports Properties Property Assistant 23-24

LEARFIELD is actively seeking a Property Assistant to work for Wolfpack Sports Properties (WSP). Our Property Assistants are essential to our property’s success. We are looking for a well-organized, responsible, and outgoing individual to provide the necessary support to the WSP team. The goal is to execute partnership elements to ensure an enjoyable game day experience for the WSP team, partners, and NC State Athletics fans. Property Assistant roles are a year-long internship experience, where students receive hands-on experience with sponsorships and marketing. Property Assistants will help with activations during NC State Athletics events, including but not limited to Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Baseball.

US Center for Mental Health & Sport Fall 2023 Internship

Positions we are seeking:

1.Marketing & Sport Content Development Intern

This candidate should understand sport marketing landscapes as well as be able to create content,monthly newsletters, maintain partner relationships and work with program and community partners and have a basic understanding of sponsorship contracts and obligations.

2.Social & Graphic Media Intern

This candidate should have a sound understanding of various social media platforms, be able to generate brand appropriate content and maintain consistent messaging with an understanding of the political and social environments that the US Center for Mental Health & Sport serves. An ideal candidate will also be able to generate various graphic/photographic/video content and provide examples of their work in the interview.

3.Counseling Development Program Intern

This Candidate will help grow the virtual Mental Health and Sport Counseling virtual program. You will not need to be a counselor yourself but rather be able to reach out to grow our counseling partners, engage with USC-MHS clients and connect/facilitate engagement opportunities in an integrated way between clients and counselors.

Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve – Centennial Coordinator Internship

In 2024 the NPS will celebrate 100 years of managing Craters of the Moon Nat’l Monument – and we’re looking to hire a Centennial Coordinator to help design and implement ~6 months of centennial-focused programming.

The ideal candidate will be organized, have a “can do” attitude, and possess a strong desire to work as part of a team. Event Internships with the Frankie Lemmon Foundation

The Frankie Lemmon Foundation is the fundraising support team for the Frankie Lemmon School here in Raleigh. We host events throughout the year to raise funds for our wonderful school. Our largest event is the Triangle Wine and Food Experience in February and we’re seeking an intern who would have strong event management skills to join our team for the Fall & Winter potentially.
