ABOUT THE SHELTER BUILDING REOPENING
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Safe Haven Family Shelter quickly pivoted to house families experiencing homelessness in area motels. This approach was more successful than anticipated and even allowed us to serve more families than ever before while maintaining our high success rates and outcomes.

We are happy to announce that our shelter building has reopened. We anticipate that reopening will allow us to maximize our resources and serve five families in our shelter building while also continuing to shelter families in motels. We are committed to reopening in a way that is as safe as possible for our families and staff, and we are making adjustments to our facility accordingly. We will stay in touch as additional volunteer opportunities arise.
