On Sunday, November 17, at 6:30–8 p.m. at the Remis Sculpture Court, Tufts' Christian communities warmly invite you to dinner in celebration of Thanksgiving as we come together across traditions to give thanks for life's blessings. Tufts in Pavia Information Session |
Join us on Monday, November 18, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Dowling Hall Room 745A to learn about our five-week program in Pavia, Italy, aimed to provide students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the wonderful culture of Italy while earning credits in Data or Computer Science. This program is designed for all students with an interest in Computer Science and an eagerness to learn about Italy with its rich history and culture. No background in Italian language or Computer Science is needed.

| Writing the Introduction Section for a Scientific Paper or Thesis |
Designed for advanced science writers and senior thesis writers in the sciences, this workshop on Monday, November 18, at 5–6 p.m. will focus on the purpose of the Introduction, how it differs from other sections of a scientific paper, and strategies for writing one. Hands-on activities will get you started in understanding and beginning the writing process for a scientific paper or thesis. This event is sponsored by the Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center.

On Tuesday, November 19, at 4:30 p.m. in the Interfaith Center, join us for our concluding event for an opportunity to share, gain insights, and reflect on the significance of civic engagement and our responsibility in the work to come with Massachusetts State Representative Christine Barber. Power, Prevention, and Pilates: A Women's Health Dialogue |
We are beyond thrilled to announce our next event, a collaboration between Sub-Saharan Africa Research Group (SSARG), BWC, and NSBWM. Power, Prevention, and Pilates is a discussion centered around women's health and the strength gained through caring for your body's physical needs. Join us on Wednesday, November 20, at 7 p.m. in the Harleston Hall Multipurpose Room for some much-needed discussion and Pilates. Please bring your own Pilates mat.

A Rural Agrarian Reckoning: Multigenerational Farmers Seeking to Repair Soil and Agriculture |
On Thursday, November 21, at 12 noon Sydney Giacalone, A17 (Environmental Studies and Anthropology), will share her graduate research in which she examines how multigenerational farmers are challenging rural traditions and reshaping social dynamics as they transition from conventional agriculture to more restorative practices. This talk will be livestreamed and recorded. This lecture is sponsored by Environmental Studies in collaboration with the Department of Anthropology.

The Center for Black Maternal Health and Reproductive Justice is hosting a can't-miss screening of The Fight for Black Lives on Thursday, November 21, at 6–8 p.m., available in-person (Boston) and virtually! The film dives into the heartbreaking realities of Black maternal and infant mortality. A panel discussion will follow.
