I hope you get excited when you hear about Capernaum camp last week at Clearwater Cove!
Our adolescent friends with disabilities shared adventure, friendship, made memories, heard the good news about Jesus...and they came away truly changed. Amen, Amen!
Katherine experiences insecurities as any adolescent girl would. During club one night, Katherine, said to her leader, “AnnMarie, I feel God move in my heart right now!!!” Through the days following, she would constantly say, "I’m just so happy; I don’t know why!" AnnMarie was able to share with her the truth that Jesus wants to bring her joy.
Mac, had some preconceived notions about who Jesus is.
But this week.. slowly she started to see God as her father
who is present.. and desires time with her ... and doesn’t think she’s too much, a lie she has believed--like so many of us believe. Erin, her leader, stayed present with her, demonstrating the presence of the Father for Mac to encounter and exchange the lie for the truth.
Join with me in praying that our Capernaum friends and their leaders would receive from the Father, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that they would know Jesus better! (Ephesians 1:17)
