“We absolutely love this program! There’s something magical about receiving mail, and my daughter and I always have to immediately sit down to read it. "The Rabbit Listened," one of our all time favorite books came from DPIL. The book has beautiful illustrations, and teaches a very important lesson not just to children but their caregivers too : sometimes all you need is for someone to be there for you. You don’t need someone to try to fix it, you don’t need to talk about it, yell about it, or forget about it. You just need someone to sit with you and be present and accept your emotions, whatever they may be. We are so thankful to be recipients of these amazing stories that help us build literacy and memories with our daughter!”
