MassHealth Coverage Renewal REquired

Dear Student,

If your primary health insurance plan is through MassHealth, you must renew your coverage with MassHealth before April 1, 2023 to ensure you continue to qualify for your current benefits.

Remember that Massachusetts law requires that students enrolled in an institution of higher education have health insurance. By maintaining your coverage with MassHealth, you meet this requirement.

If you:

Learn that you are no longer eligible for MassHealth, you may elect to enroll in the Tufts student health insurance plan.
Are currently enrolled in MassHealth, please be on the lookout for communications about the steps you need to take to maintain your coverage. These will arrive via US mail, so make sure your current mailing address is correct with MassHealth.
Are covered by a parent or guardian’s MassHealth policy, your parent or guardian will need to take the steps to recertify your eligibility by April 1, 2023.
