Student ORganization Updates
March 25, 2024
Hello Student Leaders!
We hope that you enjoyed a much-deserved break! As we enter into the home stretch of the semester, we wanted to share some important resources, opportunities, and reminders with you.
MANDATORY Green Dot Student Organization Training
All TCU recognized student clubs and organizations are required to attend a Green Dot training at least once per academic year. For every 10 members of a TCU-recognized student organization, at least one member of the club’s executive board must attend a Green Dot training. Those who attend the Green Dot training are then required to facilitate a scheduled discussion of the materials covered in the training to their entire organization. Those that fail to comply will be ineligible for TCU funding and recognition.
Unsure if your organization has met the requirement? Organizations that still need to complete their training, can be found here. If your organization is on this list, please sign up for a Green Dot training with the link below. If you already completed your training but appear on this list as not completed, please contact OCL@tufts.edu.

Last Day to Reserve Space & Make Purchases
All student organization space reservations in ReserveTufts and JumboLife event registration forms need to be placed prior to 4pm on April 15th. Student organizations will lose access to the system after this deadline.
All TCU Treasury Credit Card Authorization forms are due on April 12th before 4:30pm. All other TCU Treasury/Campus Life Financial Office forms must be submitted by April 29th before 4:30pm.
Virtual Leadership Transition Workshop
Tuesday, April 9th | 6:30pm | Meeting ID: 922 1654 3912 | Passcode: 693318
A comprehensive leadership transition is one of the best ways to set your organization up for success in the future! Join OCL for some tips and tricks on effective leadership transition, archiving organizational wisdom and history, and creating a transition framework for your org to use in the future. In addition to receiving resources, student leaders will have time and space to begin writing up and compiling transition materials, leaving the workshop with tangible tools!
If you are unable to make the training, but would like a recording or the training slides, please reach out to Alexa Erb
2024-2025 Student Leadership Transition via JumboLife
On April 22nd, student organizations that transition leadership between the Spring and the Fall semesters will be put into transition on JumboLife. This will allow student leaders to complete the transition form and update admin access for next year's officers
When completing the transition form, please input the contact information and roster for next year's officers. Do not complete the transition form until next year's executive board has been selected. In order to receive TCU funding and remain in good standing with OCL, organizations must complete their transition form by August 15th.
