Bishop Stika offers message of hope for
Easter season, Divine Mercy Sunday
Bishop Richard F. Stika reminds us of the message of St. Faustina Kowalska as the Catholic Church celebrates Divine Mercy Sunday on April 19. Bishop Stika's episcopal motto, given to us by St. Faustina, is IESU CONFIDO IN TE, which is translated as "Jesus, I trust in You". At this time of uncertainty, please click the attached image to view this special message from Bishop Stika.
At-home learning to continue through school year
Following the guidance of health professionals and government officials, Diocese of Knoxville Catholic schools will remain closed through the remainder of the school year. Superintendent Dr. Sedonna Prater sent a letter to Catholic school families earlier this week. You can read her letter here.

Bishop offers special apostolic blessing following
Easter Sunday Mass
With the permission of Pope Francis, Bishop Richard F. Stika imposed an apostolic blessing on the faithful of the Diocese of Knoxville and all of East Tennessee following the 9 a.m. Easter Sunday Mass at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The faithful are asked to receive the sacrament of reconciliation and Communion in the future when possible and to pray for Pope Francis. New 'Scripture and the Spiritual Life' episodes available
While at home, Sister Anna Marie has been deep in Scripture study. Check out the latest episodes on her podcast, Scripture and the Spiritual Life, which include a series on Philippians, a reflection on Jesus's Passion in the Gospel of John, and a chat with Vidal Moreno, answering questions Protestants often have about Catholicism. Podcasts are a great way to study Scripture while at home.

You can support your parish online by accessing your parish’s website directly or connecting through a secure link provided here. You can make a one-time gift or set up a regular ongoing donation. In either case, rest assured that all proceeds will go directly to your parish just as your regular offertory envelope or a gift in the offertory basket would. Our priests and parishes have always been here for us and will continue to be here for us, now and in the future.  Please continue to provide your support to your parish during this time so they can continue in their vital ministry.
