The Semcer Center for Healthcare Innovation Relaunch
The Semcer Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) will celebrate its relaunch on November 17th. CHI is a university-wide research center to augment Stevens' impact on healthcare.
As a launchpad of groundbreaking biomedical research, CHI serves as the central hub of collaborative research across all four Stevens schools, while catalyzing interdisciplinary connections with external industrial, institutional and clinical partners alike.

Free Yoga Classes!

As part of the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education’s Mental Health in Higher Education grant, CAPS will be providing our students with free yoga classes throughout the year! These classes will be offered by Asana Soul Practice in their Hoboken and Jersey City Locations. Email CAPS@stevens.edu with any questions.

| BME Seminar– Part 3: Medical Device Classification and Requirements for Approval in the U.S. and EU. |
Speaker: Mason Diamond, DDS, Director of Medical Device and eHealth, Bayer US
This is the third seminar in a four-part series. The seminar series will focus on providing real-world insights relating to regulatory strategies and the development decision making process for medical devices and device-drug/device-biologic combination products. This will cover operational, strategic, and commercial aspects of the regulatory approval process in the US and EU. Overviews of drug and biologic (such as cell and gene therapies) development will also be provided.
