PROMOTING STUDENT WELLNESS
Self-care, health and community

Our Bobcat community has displayed its ability to adapt quickly as well as shown incredible support for fellow students over the last few weeks. Though we are impressed by the response of you all, we understand this can be a stressful time for everyone.
These newsletters will contain information and resources to support your wellness as a student as it is now more important than ever to focus on your physical and mental health. We will highlight the topics of self-care, health and community, including initiating regular practices and routines to keep your mind at ease as well as maintaining relationships with those important to you.
Please know that your flexibility during this ever-changing situation is appreciated, and we will continue to find ways to support our Bobcats.

Tips for Coping and Self Care

We know that everyone is doing their best to get through this experience. Take this time to slow down, reevaluate your values and beliefs and develop a routine that puts those values in action. Don’t forget to give grace and kindness freely, not only to others, but to yourself. Building routines for regular exercise, sleep, hydration, nutrition and laughter will help build strength and resilience for the body and mind. Try to find the good in each day and share your gratitude with others. Practicing gratitude can foster resilience.
