Your Impact: Course Offerings that are Uniquely SYA
|
Best in Class
SYA’s curriculum is our mission in action. In addition to their six required courses which typically include host country language instruction, an experiential language course, English and mathematics, students at each campus have their choice of unique electives designed to enhance their local experience. Here’s a look at some of our most popular offerings.
Your gifts to SYA enable us to offer these interesting courses for our students. Thank you!

In "Moments of Springtime," Hope says, "The spring is my favorite time of the year, and in Rennes, there is something enchanting about le printemps as it encompasses me in its tender hold."
In "Further Along, Farther Afield," George laments on how quickly the end of the school year is approaching, and new activities have begun to take place to further explore beyond the familiar.
In "The Abroad Phenomenom," Lorna describes the moment when "the sense of unfamiliarity washes away and the chatter around you becomes clearer than music, and street signs become more useful than a phone."
