It's registration season! |
Registration opened this week! This means you will soon register for all of next year's classes. Do you have a plan? Here are some things to do:
|
You should register for classes right away. Missing an important class can delay your graduation by a semester or even a year.
By registering now, you also help ensure smaller upper-level classes run next year. If you're excited about a math elective, register for it now!

MTH 409: Real Analysis II interest survey |
Are you interested in MTH 409: Real Analysis II? We are collecting interest in offering MTH 409: Real Analysis 2 in Winter 2027 (prerequisite: MTH 408: Real Analysis 1, which is offered in Fall 2026).
This class is ideal for any math major considering graduate school. That includes statistics double-majors (it includes measure theory, often used in statistics), and anyone who just plain loves theoretical math!
If you're interested in taking MTH 409, please fill out the interest form below. We need to show that there's enough interest to offer the class in Winter 2027.

Research and grad school opportunities |
Put these dates on your calendar!
|
- March 27 at 5 pm: Last day to withdraw from a class with a "W" grade.
- April 24: Last day of classes
- April 25 - May 2: Exam week
|
|
|
One important thing to know: Withdrawing with a "W"
|
This Friday March 27 at 5 pm is the last day to withdraw from a full-semester course that you're currently in with a "W" grade.
Don't do this without talking with your instructor and advisor first. Withdrawing from a class can delay your graduation and affect financial aid, on-campus residence eligibility, and other important things! Plus, if the class is required or is a prerequisite for required classes, you'll need to take the class again in a future semester.
Withdrawing is a final option when you aren't able to finish a class successfully. If you withdraw from a class, it will show up with a "W" grade on your transcript. However, it won't count in your GPA. You will not receive a tuition refund.
If you are in an unusual situation and need to withdraw from all classes, that is also possible (but again: Check with your instructors and advisor first!).
After Friday, you will earn a final grade in any class that you keep in your schedule.
