| Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners Rules Highlight Rule 1730-02-.13 (11) states that practicing veterinary medicine in a facility that does not have a valid premises permit is considered unprofessional conduct. Any veterinarians practicing in a facility that does not have a premises permit may be cited for unprofessional conduct. Since that will appear on a veterinarian's public record, this emphasizes the need to make sure premises permits are kept current.
