First-Year Housing Assignment Update

Dear Student,

We are excited to welcome you to campus in just a few weeks! Your housing assignment, roommate information, and important move-in details will be emailed on Friday, August 7 at 5 p.m. CT.

Your Private Mailbox (PMB) number will be available by August 3. You can find your PMB number and learn more about campus mail services by visiting the Welcome website.

As a reminder, join us for Vandy, I'm Home: Unpacking What to Expect on Move-In Day webinar on August 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. CT. We'll walk through what to expect on Move-In Day and answer common questions to help you prepare.

As Move-In approaches, take a few minutes to review the reminders below so you're ready for a smooth arrival.

Obtain renters insurance to protect your personal belongings and meet the insurance requirements.
Review the packing list for recommended and prohibited items.
Prepare for your healthcare needs before arriving on campus. If applicable, talk with your healthcare provider about a care plan and refill any prescription medications.
Make sure your Commodore Card is ready. If you haven't already, submit your photo and add your digital Commodore Card to your phone wallet before arriving on campus.
Complete your summer assignment by August 15.
