Thrive! Committees Announced

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic and talented group of new chairs and committee members for the 2020-21 year! Incoming chairs are:
  • Communications — Elicia Dennis
  • Engagement — Amelia Lutz
  • Mentoring — Patti Reinhardt
  • Professional Development & Networking — Annalisa Tombelli

Please visit the Thrive! website to see the updated committee lists and leadership team for the coming year. Increasing the diversity of our leadership and committees has been a priority for our board and—while this current group is the most diverse yet—we know we have more work to do to ensure that we are better representing all women employees at the University and ensuring that all voices are heard. As always, we welcome your thoughts and suggestions.
We also wish to express our sincere thanks to those board members and committee members who are stepping down and to those who are continuing to serve. We appreciate the time and energy you have dedicated to Thrive!

Thrive! Lunch Pairings

The Thrive! Ambassadors will offer another round of Thrive! Lunch Pairings in July. Simply complete this form to sign up and Thrive! will randomly pair you with a lunch partner.
Given the current circumstances, you and your lunch partner may choose to schedule a lunch meeting via web conference or by telephone. If you choose to meet in person, you will select a meeting place and cover your own tab.
You may each bring one friend or colleague if you would like, and that person does not need to be a member of Thrive! to participate.
If you are interested, please sign up by 5 p.m. on Monday, July 6th.
Contact Jessica Schiller at jschill2@nd.edu or at 574-631-7923 if you have any questions.

Thrive! Recommends

Minda Harts
The Memo was designed to give more perspective into the experiences of women of color in the workplace. Few career books on women’s advancement have examined the specific challenges faced by women of color. This book examines career advancement through a distinct lens, taking a detailed examination of what women of color face, including micro-aggressions and the wage gap. Harts also offers great insight into how these problems can be mitigated, including what specific actions can be taken by allies and organizational leaders to spark change.
