HUEY P. LONG FIELD HOUSE RESTORATION

We’re so excited to announce the restoration of the Huey P. Long Field House is in full swing! All SOK faculty and staff have moved temporarily into offices at Pleasant Hall, and construction is on-going at the Field House.

The Field House was the epicenter of student life when it opened in 1932 and served as the first student union. Today, it houses disciplines that enhance the health and wellness of society through teaching, research and outreach programs.

There are several ways to leave your mark on the Field House:

Naming Opportunities: scroll down for architectural renderings and brief descriptions of these game-changing spaces that will host students, research, and community collaborations.

Project Updates: check out drone footage and other video updates on the exciting changes happening at the Field House.

Share Your Stories: this historic building was once home to LSU's Student Union. What is your Field House story? We want to hear it!
