Math Pathways & English/Math Co-Requisite to Launch in Fall |
This fall KU will launch a pilot of the Math Pathways & Math/English Co-Requisite Education initiative. The goals of the initiative, required by the Kansas Board of Regents, are to:
|
- Ensure students take the math course that’s right for them, based on their major.
- Remove barriers to timely completion by offering just-in-time support via math and English co-requisite courses that include both subject matter and academic success components.
|
Academic Affairs and the Office of the University Registrar will host workshops this spring to prepare units for full implementation in fall 2026. Visit the KU Core website to learn more.

| Campus Cupboard Designated as Sole Food Pantry for Lawrence Campus |
The Campus Cupboard, located on the fourth level of the Kansas Union, is a satellite pantry of Just Food, a food bank in Lawrence that serves partners across Douglas County. As part of an agreement with Just Food, the Campus Cupboard is the only recognized food pantry on the Lawrence campus.
To ensure regulations and policies about the safe handling, storage and dispensing of food are followed, individuals and KU units should avoid donating food directly to students and instead direct them to the Campus Cupboard. Donations to the Campus Cupboard can be made between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Fridays. Non-perishable items can be left in donation bins outside. You can also donate funds through KU Endowment or purchase items from the Campus Cupboard’s Amazon Wishlist.
