The City of Pittsfield Recreation Program has once again teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires for a free public skating opportunity. The Recreation Program and the Boys & Girls Club invite the first 100 people through the door during Public Skate to free admission for skating and free skate rental (limited availability). More info

Hike to Basin

Pond with BNRC

Sun Feb 4, 8–11:30 a.m.
This hike to Basin Pond in Lee is offered for Spanish speakers and those interested in Spanish immersion. The hike takes participants on a fairly flat and easy trail until they reach a waterfall stream. After crossing the stream, the trail forks. The BNRC round-trip hike is about two miles and takes about an hour and 45 minutes. More info

Hockey Classic

The Berkshire Pond Hockey Classic, sponsored by Berkshire Bank, is back (we hope) on Benedict Pond in Beartown State Forest in Monterey/Great Barrington. The weather will determine whether the conditions allow for safe ice. Updates on Instagram and on their website. No referees (except for the playoffs) with a cap of 16 teams.
