Starting tomorrow, June 6, 2025, Zoom’s AI Companion tool will be activated for users of the University of Utah’s main campus account. AI Companion is a generative AI digital assistant that, if activated by a Zoom meeting host, automatically creates meeting summaries and answers questions about meeting content.
A release date has not been selected for AI Companion in the University of Utah Health’s Zoom subaccount (utah-health.zoom.us). U of U Health Zoom users will be notified when it is available for use.
