OD Through the Lense of Visions
"In this paper I will be describing how I experienced OD in my organization, VISIONS, Inc. I’ve recently adopted a personal approach to change and equity where individual and group experiential learning occurs through dialogical examination of modern oppression on the personal, interpersonal, cultural, and institutional levels. This is a continuous process which enables participants to identify and challenge historical and modern “isms” regarding racism, sexism, ageism, and classism; in identifying and resolving various forms of social biases and oppression..."

Melanie Duppins, Vice President of Human Capital and Teacher Outreach, DonorsChoose.org
"When I was younger, I dreamed of being the President of the United States. I had big dreams and knew that I would make a difference in the career path that I chose. As the Vice President of Human Capital and Teach Outreach at DonorsChoose.org, I am able to make a difference in the lives of our students, teachers and members. The biggest difference I have been able to make was last year when I assisted a team through a redesign process at my organization. Hearing how much my colleagues liked their new structure and how it’s helped them puts the wind in my sails..."

| Launching in 2016: The Welcome Group Program This year, the OD Network is proud to announce the launch of the NEW Welcome Group Program (WGP), serving new members and graduate/doctoral students in the OD Network. The program connects members to each other while exploring the Network, and was piloted in 2015 with high success. Participants meet virtually for three weeks (one 90 min session per week) to accomplish three tasks:
- Identify their own professional needs (e.g., skills, learning, relationships);
- Collaborate in exploring OD Network's available resources; and
- Create peer-accountable action plans for getting the most out of their OD Network membership.
We’d like to invite you to participate!
To get a feel for the Welcome Group Program, here is a conversation shared by founders, Kris Lea, PsyD OD and Marco Cassone, MSOD.
