Welcome to Our New Headquarters!
Our boxes are unpacked, our staff is in place, and our new office is open for business! The new headquarters is located at 7362 Calhoun Place, Rockville, MD 20855. It's bright, accessible, and large enough to house all of our staff under one roof.  We look forward to showing you around on your next visit!
Openings Available Now
Openings are available now in our KFICCC and After All programs.  KFICCC, our inclusive child care center in Silver Spring, has immediate openings for children with and without disabilities who are four years old. In January, there may be openings for infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds. After All supports youth ages 10-21 after school and during school breaks with a curriculum that focuses on building indepence and socialization skills.  For more information, please contact Sherry Ruiz, Family Coordinator at SherryR@arcmontmd.org

The ABLE Age Adjustment Act
The ABLE Age Adjustment Act (S. 651, HR 1814) seeks to raise the age from 26 to 46 for people with disabilities to have ABLE accounts. Currently, only individuals who have a qualifying disability prior to age 26 are eligible to open an account in an Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) plan. The likelihood of a person having a disability increases with age, so expanding the age limit for the ABLE plan is crucial to the financial well being of many in the disability community.  Click here to learn more about this act and how you can advocate for it.
