Reminder: Transformational Travel Workshop

Following the inspiring Transformational Travel keynote at Travel Southern Oregon’s Travel Jam in February, we’re building on the momentum with a FREE virtual Transformational Travel Workshop next Tuesday, May 5 from 9–11 a.m.

This interactive session is perfect for partners interested in creating more intentional, values-driven experiences that resonate with today’s travelers. On this Zoom, Jake Haupert will share practical tools and real-world insights to help you design offerings that foster connection, purpose, and lasting impact. During the workshop there will be opportunities for campfire conversation, creating space for open dialogue, questions, and shared ideas from across our region.

March Regional Research Report

In March, hotel Demand throughout the Southern Oregon Region was relatively flat compared to one year prior and increased by just 0.7% YoY, while Supply was elevated by 2.7% YoY. As a result, hotel Occupancy dropped by 1.7% from last March to average 51.6% throughout the region.

Klamath County had a significant increase in Occupancy in March, rising by 23.5% YoY to average 55.0% for the month. All other counties posted declines in Occupancy compared to last year.
