| Folk Tales & Legends from Around the World |
Kick off our Summer Reading Program (SRP) with this special event for families. Join storyteller, Alan Irvine for "Color Your World: Folk Tales & Legends from Around the World." This free program will be held on Monday, June 9 at 6PM. No registration necessary.

The Summer Reading Program is open to students in grades K - 12. We are offering the same program, during two time slots, so that participants can select a time that best fits their schedule. "Hack the Canvas" will be held on June 10. Take a painted canvas and add clever elements to make it unique. Registration is necessary.

| Watercolor & Wax Resist Painting |
Art Exploration: Watercolor & Wax Resist Painting is a supplemental activity for our SRP. The June 12 program is designed for students in grades K - 3. Participants will explore the magic of watercolor and wax resist in this hands-on workshop. Youngsters will create hidden designs, then watch as the watercolors reveal their patterns!

| SRP: Fiber & Wearable Art |
The SRP is open to students in grades K - 12. Teens will create Colorful Silk Scarves and must REGISTER.
Teens will only have the 11AM spot available to them for this program.
Our younger guests will create Burlap Wall Hangings.

Due to an In-Service training day for BAPL staff, the library will be closed on Monday, June 2.
We will have a delayed opening on Wednesday, June 25 to accommodate our monthly staff meeting. BAPL will open at 12PM.
Gentle reminder that the Children's play area is closed on the final Wednesday of each month to allow for the deep cleaning that is necessary to help combat the spread of germs. This will be June 25th. Children's books are still accessible.

Silent Book Club: No assigned reading. All genres are discussed. Read what YOU enjoy. Saturday, June 7 at 10:30AM.
- Fiber Arts Group: Thursdays from 1 - 3 PM. You name it, they can do it! Hobbyists knit, crochet, embroider, cross stitch, etc. They share stories and patterns, and discover new techniques. All are welcome.

Tech Tutor: Select a 30 minute appointment on Thursdays between 10 AM – 12 PM
to receive help with BASIC computer questions. Pick up new skills in a friendly, one-on-one environment. Call 814-362-6527 to register. -
Copy Cat: This is a monthly crafting program for adults. We explore a new project each month. In June we are upcycling materials to create cute magnets for use at work or on our kitchen fridges. Registration is necessary for this free program.

Open Book Club: Join our gathering on Saturday, June 21 at 10:30AM. Attendees will be discussing Heartwood, by Amity Gaige.
- Trivia: Tuesday, June 17 at 6 PM. Let's test our knowledge of everything during our next Trivia Night! Enjoy the challenge with your team (4 ppl. max.) or play individually.

Adult Lego Challenge: Wednesday, June 25 at 6PM. Whether you're rediscovering a childhood passion as an adult or diving in for the first time, experience the fun of this hobby. **Registration is necessary.**

Local yoga instructor, Kathy Wright is returning to BAPL to lead a yoga series that will increase your flexibility while sculpting and strengthening your body. Participants will use a combination of yoga mats, small weights, and chairs. This free program is perfect for people of all abilities and ages. Each 45 minute session begins at 4:30PM on the following Tuesdays: June 10 & 24.

Outdoor Life: Backpacking Essentials |
Join experienced backpackers Lynne Kuntz and Becca Fletcher on Tuesday, June 24 at 6PM for the first program in BAPL's Outdoor Life series. Backpacking Essentials is a visual program that will safely prepare outdoor enthusiasts for a variety of adventures. Lynne has completed Wilderness Fire Responder certification as well as Outdoor Leadership training through Revelation Wellness.

| Community Art: Origami Mobile |
Be a part of another engaging Community Art project! This year we aspire to create an origami crane mobile to hang in the library -- adding a splash of year-round color to BAPL.

- Teen Book Club: Tuesday, June 17 at 5 PM. Members are discussing The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell. Teen Book Club is open to any local teen in grades 9 - 12. Enjoy free books and snacks at every meeting.

The Next Chapter Book Club is a new weekly program for local tweens in grades 5 - 8 (every Thursday). This program will consist of read-aloud adventures while participants color and doodle. There will be plenty of snacks too. This program is made possible due to the generous support of the United Way of the Bradford Area. Our first book will be The Ambrose Deception by Emily Ecton.

- Little Learners: Mondays at 11 AM. Little Learners is a fun-filled program for 0-5 year old children and their parents or caregivers. SRP fun will take place on June 9 & 16 for our Little Learners.
- Lego Club: first Tuesday of each month from 5-6PM. Participants will receive a building prompt this month.

Book to Movie Club: Mondays at 4:30PM. Local students in grades 3 - 5, are welcome to attend every Monday from 4:30 - 5:15 PM while we read a few chapters from a great children’s book. We currently are enjoying Inkheart.
