Train with us for the City of Oaks Half Marathon
If you can run 3-4 miles right now, you are ready to join our
Running Mamas Half Marathon Race Training 
Training Dates:  August 20th - November 6th
Race Goal: Raleigh City of Oaks Half Marathon on November 7th

Training schedule:  
Saturdays, 7:30AM, White Oak Church Road Trailhead  
(1305 White Oak Church Road, Apex). 
Other optional group runs may be scheduled. 

Sessions are designed to help you go from jogging about 3-4 miles (at any pace), to comfortably running a Half Marathon (13.1 miles), in approximately 3 months. Training plans are tailored to your ability level -- first-timers encouraged to join us!  Advanced training is also available for experienced runners looking to improve their race time or set a PR.

Running Mamas Half Marathon Training Includes:

  • 12 weeks of coached training runs
  • Weekly training plan emails & guidance (3 additional runs/week completed on your own).  Training plans are tailored for your ability level
  • Personalized training plans and one-on-one coaching throughout the program.   
  • Weekly educational clinics on topics like:  running form, nutrition, injury prevention, increasing speed & distance, and choosing the right shoes.
  • Pre-run sessions on strength training for runners, core workouts for runners, and more
  • Private online Facebook group for motivation and discussion with your fellow Running Mamas
  • Supportive atmosphere with other moms working towards a similar goal.
