All are welcome to come to the International Student Center, MacMillan Hall 017, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, for place to study, take a break from studying, get connected with campus and community resources, or engage with a program or event.

Regulary scheduled in the International Student Center for Spring 2022: 

ISSS Drop-In Advising (meet ISSS staff for quick questions related to international student status)
  • Monday - Thursday, 1:30-3pm
Global Career Development Drop-Ins (meet Center for Career Exploration and Success staff for questions related to job/internship search, resumés, interviewing and more)
  • Mondays, 12pm (noon) - 2pm
Campus Care (informal meetings with Student Counseling Services)
  • Tuesdays, 3-4pm 
English Language Learner Writing Center Consultations (work with peer consultants to improve your writing)
  • Monday, 12pm (noon) - 4pm 
  • Tuesday, 11am - 12pm (noon) and 4-7pm
  • Wednesday, 12pm (noon) - 7pm 
  • Thursday, 3-6pm
  • Friday, 1-5pm

For those international students preparing to graduate or complete their program this spring, ISSS staff will present information and answer questions about the Final Semester of Study in the U.S.

Drop In with Aetna Insurance

International students with questions about the student health plan or U.S. health insurance can meet with an Aetna Insurance representative to learn more about U.S. and campus heathcare.

Make sure ISSS can report your status accurately to the government!

ISSS is required to report on international students' enrollment and location during the first 30 days of the semester. In order for us to report accurately and keep your status active, make sure you have done the following:

  • Submitted your Spring 2022 Study Plan Confirmation e-form via InterLink
    • ISSS will follow up if additional action is needed
  • Updated your local address on the Contact Information form if you have recently moved to a new U.S. address

  • Submitted a Reduced Course Load request in InterLink if you are not enrolled full-time and believe you are eligible for an RCL

  • Met with ISSS staff if you have questions about enrollment requirements or other issues related to maintaining status.
