Dear Colleague--
Is it just me, or are we starting to see glimmers of hope? More safari inquiries have come in the last couple of weeks than we’ve seen in months. Any progress is welcome.
My optimism is also buoyed by the fact that starting on October 1st, we are adding Sopa Lodges and three Anantara properties (The Royal Livingstone, Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort and Anantara Medjumbe Island Resort) to our Africa portfolio. You’ll find more information on all those awesome properties below.
Meanwhile, my husband and I are headed to Kenya and Tanzania in November for a sojourn of around four weeks. We may take a quick trip down to Vic Falls too if we can manage the logistics — and COVID tests.
Don’t forget to save the date for the Re•think Virtual Travel Trade Show November 9th to 12th. We’ll be there along with our Emerging Destinations portfolio. We have terrific speakers lined up and you'll be able to schedule one-on-one appointments with vendors from around the world.
Stay safe out there. There’s light at the end of the tunnel!
