Today, Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, consulting firm Rankin Climate will present findings from LMU Loyola Law School’s spring 2025 campus climate survey, a component of the university’s “Your Campus. Your Voice.” survey project. Two sessions are offered:

The survey provides important insights into the experiences of our students, faculty, and staff, and will help inform the future initiatives at the law school. Whether you participated in the survey or are new to the community, please join us for this important conversation. Each session will include time for questions, and pizza will be provided at both in-person sessions.

A Constitutional Conversation with Berkeley Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky |

Berkeley Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, a constitutional scholar, will discuss the issues of presidential power, use of federal troops to police American cities, and free speech on campus during a constitutional conversation to be held at noon on Thursday, Nov. 6, in Burns Lounge. The talk will be followed by Q&A. This event is sponsored by the Black Law Students Association, the Loyola Anti-Racism Center, and the Loyola Student Services Office. Pizza and beverages will be served.

Policing L.A. Forum to Examine Failed Police Oversight in County |
The Policing L.A. Forum, part of the Loyola Anti-Racism Center, will host a panel at noon on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, in Burns Lounge to discuss "10 Years of Failed Law Enforcement Oversight in L.A. County." Panelists include Professor Eric Miller, commissioner, Sybil Brand Commission; Professor Sean Kennedy '89, former chair, L.A. County Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission; L.A. County Inspector General Max Huntsman; "Check the Sheriff" Co-Chair Stephanie Luna; Chief Deputy L.A. County Inspector General Dara Williams; and Miriam Aroni Krinsky, executive director, Fair and Just Prosecution. One hour of general MCLE credit is available, if approved, with sign-in and sign-out on the day of the event. This activity is pending approval. LMU Loyola Law School is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider. RSVP>>
